Grain Area

In the area of post harvest management of cereal grains and legumes, the Grain Quality Laboratory's personnel is involved in teaching activities, research, and extension. Research focuses on the areas of postharvest technology of grains such as the development of new forms of packaging, storage and drying, pests and disease management during storage, quality standards, and trade regulations for grain. The Grain Quality Lab works closely with small and medium farmers, and industry.
